Home Building Materials
Materials for a home building or extension project will usually be specified by your home extension designer or architect. This is where they specify exactly what materials shall be used for the structural elements of the build together with the insulations, external cladding etc. There will also be an element of builder selection throughout the project during the build where they will be requested to select the building materials to an outline specification or set of performance factors which the material is to achieve. Although this is fairly normal and commonplace it is often abused as the materials selected by the project builder will usually be the cheape4st that may not be the best for the job. Try to ensure that your experienced and professional building designer or architect specifies as many home building materials as they possibly can rather than leaving it up to the builder. Your are paying for their experience and advice so make sure you obtain it. NOTE - These are general discussion articles only.
